French agriculture delegation is on a visit to Azerbaijan

A delegation of agriculture experts from France currently are visiting Georgia and Azerbaijan  to build business relations and learn more about agricultural potential of these countries. 
The project is being carried out by Agrotech department of Business France and trade and investments office of French embassy in Azerbaijan.
 
The delegation’s trip to Baku also related with participation at the Caspian Agro 2017 exhibition where major local and international agricultural enterprises display their products.
Within the framework of business part of trip on May 18, French Day was organized by Business France at the French institute.
 
Delegation members through the presentations gave detailed information about the companies they represent and answered the questions of their Azerbaijani counterparts.
According to pre-planned requests French entrepreneurs also hold individual meetings with Azerbaijani businessmen.
 
The head of Agrothech department of Business France Natalia Shtikalo expressed her confidence that both countries have unique export potential of agricultural products.
 
“We are certain that there are great opportunities both in Georgia and Azerbaijan for development of agro-industrial complex which stimulates these states based on internal market and unique export potential.
If there is a demand for products of any French company, they can successfully develop their businesses in Azerbaijan and Georgia” she said.
