Representatives of US embassy in Azerbaijan visits IEPF's office in Tartar - PHOTOS

On April 16, 2017, representatives of the US embassy in Azerbaijan visited the Regional Vocational Training Center of  International Eurasia Press Fund located in Tartar.
The main  purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with activities carried out within the framework of "Women, Community and Social Justice: Discussion of gender-based violence in IDP communities" project and to meet with the  IDP communities women.
 
During the visit, Counselor for cultural affairs of the US embassy in Azerbaijan  Amy Petersen and grants coordinator Nigar Aliyeva became familiar with current state of realization process of project in Tartar Regional Vocational Training Center.
 
Informing guests about Center's activities, trainings held in Center and other places linked to center,President of  the International Eurasia Press Fund Umud Mirzayev and the guests participated in the training called  "Women's rights" held in within the framework of "Women, Community and Social Justice: Discussion of gender-based violence in IDP communities" project for selected internally displaced women.
 
After the training IEPF President Umud Mirzayev discussed future activities of project and prospects of joint cooperation to maintain the sustainability of the project with the US Embassy in Azerbaijan.
 
Note that International Eurasia Press Fund implements projects called " Support for IDP Youth's participation in Civil Society Foundation" and "Women, Community and Social Justice: Discussion of gender-based violence in IDP communities" in Barda, Tartar, Agdam, Fizuli districts in Azerbaijan funded by the US embassy in Azerbaijan.
